From Archives to Events, Volunteer With Us!

Whether it's lending a hand at Kirby's Mill, helping maintain the Cross Keys Schoolhouse, or assisting with local events, volunteering with the Medford Historical Society is a chance to connect with the past and help preserve Medford's rich history for future generations.

HISTORIC SITES

Help care for Kirby's Mill, the Cross Keys Schoolhouse, and other Society properties.

ARCHIVE & RESEARCH

Assist with scanning photographs and expanding the Digital Archive.

EDUCATION

Serve as a docent or help visitors learn about Medford's history.

Volunteer Opportunities are Flexible!

Some volunteers help regularly, while others assist only during events or special projects. Whether you can give a few hours a year or more time throughout the season, we welcome your inolvement.

Students Seeking Community Service Hours

We welcome students who are looking to complete community service hours to volunteer at Society events through our SignUpGenius sign-ups. Community service verification letters are available upon request.
